Lamson Spatula, Walnut, 6"

This Lamson Spatula has a 6” blade, making it small enough for delicate jobs, but large enough to move icing around on a sheet cake. This spatula is made from hardened and tempered high-carbon stainless steel. Two rivets hold the spatula blade securely in the walnut handle.

The beautiful walnut handle is unique for each blade or turner in the Lamson product line, the natural walnut color variations create a unique handle. The spatula should be hand washed only. To keep the wood handle looking its best when it appears dry, treat with a rub of mineral or vegetable oil.

Tips for great Buttercream Frosting:

• Basic buttercream starts with butter, be sure it is softened. In most kitchens it takes butter between 30 and 60 minutes at room temperature to reach the right consistency.
• Sift the powdered sugar after measuring.
• For extra flavor use vanilla bean paste.
• If you have leftover frosting, spread between shortbread cookies for a sweet snack.
