When carving roasts, the Messermeister Oliva Elite 6" Straight Carving Fork is the ideal tool to use when carving up a roast. The ultra sharp tines of the carving fork easily pierce the roast while securing it for carving with a Messermeister slicing knife. The blade and tang of the knife are full forged from a single billet of fine German steel alloy.
Each knife is hand-polished and has a 15° "Elite" edge on the blade. The tang of the knife is covered with a beautiful ergonomic olivewood handle.
Properly caring for your Messermeister knife is very important, and will help extend the life of your blade. Maintaining a sharp edge on your blade and keeping food from drying to it can help prevent injury while using your knife. After you are finished with your knives, clean them with warm soapy water, fully dry, and safely store them in a blade guard, knife block, or an in-drawer storage tray. Do not wash your knives in the dishwasher or let them soak in water.
