The Wüsthof Classic 10” Honing Steel has a handle that is triple-riveted to the steel. Bring your knife back to high-performance with a honing steel. A honing steel can be used after every hour of use to maintain the knife blade from tip to heel. The 10” length of this honing steel will manage knifes up to the same length of blade.
Honing re-aligns the microscopic teeth in blade, where sharpening will remove material from the blade to reset the edge. The honing steel should be used after you sharpen your blade.
A comfortable contoured handle fits in your hand for a secure grip. The heavy-duty steel is well balanced between the handle and steel so it is easy to hone the complete length of the knife blade.
