Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy

Shipping Price:  Delivery for all items over $59.00 is free of charge. Orders under $59.00 are billed $7.85 for delivery. Certain products may require additional handling charges, which are detailed on the product’s description page. We adhere to a strict policy of presenting all shipping and handling charges to the customer prior to checkout. If an item requires additional handling charges, you will be given this information prior to adding the product to your cart.

Delivery Schedule:  Chef Pro Knives takes every measure to ensure your order is shipped the same day your order is placed. Unless items are on backorder, orders will ship same day in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays
  2. Items ordered on Saturday or Sunday will ship on the following business day
  3. Items ordered during a holiday will ship on the following business day
  4. Items ordered after 3:00 pm EST will ship the following business day

Service:
Knives and accessories United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal Service (USPS) depending upon weight and size of the shipment.

APO, FPO, and DPO Addresses

Most items can be shipped to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses, except liquids and perishable items. Please contact our customer service representatives today at 1-888-CHEF-PRO to place an order for shipping to these locations. Additional shipping charges will apply based upon the item being ordered.

 Delivery (UPS):
No UPS deliveries can be made to PO Boxes and certain rural addresses. Please contact UPS directly if you have specific questions about delivering to your address.

Delivery (USPS):
Any items shipped by USPS do not require a signature. These items will be left in your PO Box or Mail Box.

Missed UPS Deliveries:
If for any reason you miss the first attempt from UPS to deliver your order, UPS will leave a call tag with a toll free number to reschedule delivery. Please call the toll free number on the call tag to reschedule delivery or pick-up at your local UPS Center. A total of three (3) drop-off attempts will be made, free of charge.

Tracking your Shipment:
Once we have prepared your package for shipment, you will receive an e-mail stating your order has been shipped.  A tracking number and link will also be provided in this e-mail if your order was shipped UPS. You may click on the link for instant, up to date status and location of your package.

Exceptions:
Under normal circumstances, your order will ship within 24 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday. However, circumstances beyond our control may delay timely shipment. These circumstances may include: weather, periods of high order volume, out of stock items, holidays, etc.

Insurance & Damage:
All items ship fully insured. If for any reason you receive an item that appears to have damage, ask the delivery person if you may inspect the contents before accepting. If for any reason you are unable to inspect the contents, have the delivery person note the damage and ask that the item be returned to Chef Pro Knives. All items damaged in shipment will be replaced with a new item. You may also contact our customer service department to discuss damaged items by calling: 1-888-CHEF-PRO.
