The blade of the Kai Wasabi Black 4” Paring Knife is created from Daido 1K6 high-carbon stainless steel, which offers superb sharpness and edge retention. The blade is hand sharpened to a 16˚ angle each side and given a grazed finish, for an appealing brushed-steel aesthetic. The black handle is constructed from polypropylene and formed into a traditional, easy-to-grip Japanese style. For best results, hand wash Kai cutlery.
