The Wusthof 12 Bee Hive Handle Sharpening Steel will keep your knives safe for everyday use by realign the blades.  Running the edge of the blade along the steel at a 20 degree angle with a light pressure will bring your blades back to life.  Use an arching motion while going from side to side, never stroke each side more than once consecutively, repeating the process 6-8 times.  The textured handles give this sharpener a slip resistant, secure grip.
