The blade of the Wüsthof Grand Prix II 8 Bread Knife starts as a single blank of high-carbon stainless steel, forged into a serrated edge to best handle thick crusts and tough rinds without crushing soft, delicate foods within. Long enough for large loaves and big sandwiches, this blade is ideal with all kinds of bread, crusty, crunchy, fresh and soft. Also a great choice for cakes, fruit, and fried foods, it features a triangular tip for other assorted tasks.
